A foundation of faith

Frank accepted Christ at age 12 during an altar call led by Benito Rodriguez at Ebenezer Baptist Church. His grandmother, Maximina Celorio, and his mother were instrumental in establishing his Christian foundation, faithfully taking him to church and teaching him the importance of Christmas, Easter, and a life centered on God.

Like many young men, Frank later wandered from his faith. Marriage, fatherhood, and mounting responsibilities eventually brought renewed spiritual reflection. At 25, with two children, another on the way, a one-income household, and his job in jeopardy, Frank fell to his knees in a hotel room in Columbia, South Carolina. He poured out his heart to God and prayed, “Just guide me.” That same year became the most successful of his career.

A career of vigilance

Frank later joined his father’s security company at Miami International Airport, where he gained extensive experience in aviation and transportation security. His responsibilities included aircraft inspections, cruise-line security, X-ray screening, and overseeing the examination of flower shipments arriving from Colombia for illegal narcotics and other prohibited substances. His company, Monarch Security Services, was recognized by the United States Department of Justice for its work in interdicting illicit drugs arriving on flights from Colombia.

Frank has remained in the security profession ever since, protecting high-value assets and developing expertise in residential-community security, access control, and perimeter protection. Throughout his career, he watched global events unfold in real time—observing them as both a watchman and a security professional and assessing how developments abroad could affect security here at home.

The calling to write

More than a year and a half ago, late one sleepless night, Frank felt compelled by the Holy Spirit to get up and begin writing. He had never written a novel and had no intention of becoming an author. Nevertheless, once he began, he did not stop. He completed four books and wrote approximately 100 pages of the fifth.

That calling gave birth to The Night the Music Died, the first novel in The Convergence Series. The fast-paced series uses fictional characters and storylines rooted in historical and contemporary events. From a 30,000-foot perspective, it examines the geopolitical and prophetic narrative of our time, connecting seemingly isolated events with biblical prophecy. Although the characters are fictional, many of the circumstances bear an eerie resemblance to events the world has already witnessed.

A partnership of faith

Frank has been married to his beautiful wife, Bonnie, for 26 years. She has been instrumental in strengthening his walk with Christ and encouraging his dedication to writing. Bonnie helped edit The Night the Music Died and provided invaluable insight and guidance in developing the broader series.

Frank credits her partnership, discernment, and steadfast support as essential parts of both his spiritual journey and his growth as an author.
